About the exhibition
The Hunt Museum is delighted to announce launch its first-ever Hunt Open Submission Exhibition, a major new initiative celebrating contemporary Irish and international art.
Opening Friday, 5 December 2025, the exhibition marks the museum’s renewed commitment to supporting living artists and fostering dialogue between our historic collection and today’s creative voices.
The exhibition also features four special awards honouring valued contributors to the museum and recognising outstanding artistic achievement.
Running from 5 December 2025 to 28 February 2026, the Open Submission Exhibition is free to visit in the temporary exhibition space.
A huge thank you to all participating artists and our selection committee for making this exciting new chapter possible.
