File of material relating to a drawing by Henry Moore entitled 'Upright Figures.' Includes photocopy of information card with photocopy of image of object (date unspecified). The word 'Loan' is written on this document; letter (27 April 1999) from Anita Feldman Bennet, Assistant Curator, The Henry Moore Foundation, Dane tree house, Perry green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, to Ciaran McGonigal, Director, Hunt Museum, noting that three of the four works in the Hunt Museum by Moore are not recorded in her archives. Requests that drawings be sent to her for authentification and cataloguing. Also, that present object is likely a sketch for Moores boxwood carving 'Girl' dated 1932, the same date given to the present object. Encloses photocopied image of this object; facsimile (1 April 1999) from Emma Stower, Copyright Officer, The Henry Moore Foundation, to McGonigal, requesting information about which drawings of Henry Moore have been reproduced for a postcard; notes on the life and work of Henry Moore (date unspecified). Includes description of present object and another object, a chalk and wash on paper entitled 'Abstract Figures' which dates from 1940.
