In February 2007 most of Ancient Cauldron members
were in attendance at the 13th annual PantheaCon, one
of the most informative pagan gatherings in town. We had
a great time during this four day event, with at least
200 presentations, from discussion circles, classes, workshops,
rituals, parties, etc. There were at least 8 different
hospitality rooms but many of the groups attending for
the entire weekend opened their rooms up as hospitality
rooms too, or they held smaller get togethers. There was
something going on the entire four days, with many get
togethers lasting throughout the night. I'm sure there
were some people that floated through the entire event
with little or no sleep! This event is highly recommended.
We have attended many of the past events and although not all of us are able to attend each one, at least some of us are able to go and represent Ancient Cauldron.

Ancient Cauldron has been going through more changes, and we all know that change is a part of growth, a part of life, so too is it with groups and organizations. Currently Ancient Cauldron has had to back away from hosting open events and has temporarily closed its doors.
But don't be discouraged! Many of our members will be hosting events or classes and as soon as they get them scheduled we'll get them listed here.
Until then you are sure to see one or more of our members at other open events in the area, usually helping out or participating in some manner. We like to stay involved.

Magickal Arts Classes All classes are scheduled according to teacher and students availability.
Classes can be scheduled weedays, evenings or weekends.
Magical Arts Classes are open to everyone.
$5.00 minimum donation per class.
Donations help to defer any costs for hosting these
classes and no one will be turned away.
Donations always accepted: cash or supplies such as candles,
sage, other incense, oils, paper plates, cups, plastic
utensils, napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, lined or
plain paper, or any other items normally used for classes,
circles, or events.

Maximum class size is 6.
Join us in sharing and learning on this
wonderful journey as well cover things like: Understanding
the court cards, how the cards affect each other in a
reading or their position in the layout, the colors, symbols,
astrology, numerology, the Kabalah and much more.
You will need the Rider-Waite original deck, not the Universal
deck. You will also need a notebook and writing utensil.
Tape recording of classes is okay and highly recommended.
Monday Night Tarot

On going informal class and get-together. $5.00 donation

Each week we gather to learn and share about the Tarot
in an informal way. Everyone gets to share openly we will
cover what those present have questions about. Some nights
will be more class, others more sharing, others will be
working on layouts, or actual readings. Regardless each
night will be informative and fun.
Tarot Sessions
Tarot classes are taught by Gail Dettmar
a.k.a. WinterSky
Classes and workshops are scheduled per
individual or in a group format. Weekday, evening or weekend
sessions are available. Classes are 2 hours to 2 1/2 hours
each, and there are three different workshops available:
half day, full day or two days.
Classes: $10.00 per session in a group of 4 to 6. Individual
classes $20.00 per session or $80.00 for 6 sessions pre-paid.
Workshops: $45.00 half day (5 hrs.), $75.00 full day (8
hrs.), $100.00 two day (7 hrs. each day)
* Note: Spot Classes are also available.
A spot class is a one time only class that covers whatever
area the student feels they need help with or if they
just wish to expand their development with the Tarot by
getting insight from someone.
Tarot I Classes: 6 sessions
covering, Basics, Court Cards, each suit: pentacles, cups,
swords then wands, basics of the Major Arcana. Tarot
II Classes: These ar advanced classes and I highly
suggest you take Tarot I first to have a better understanding
of the workings as I teach them. 6 sessions every other
week, covering the 22 Major Arcana cards in-depth. Working
with approximately 3 cards per session. In these sessions
you will be learning the major importance of personally
connecting to the cards and how to go into the different
layers, that which is super-imposed on each card. You
will learn to meditate on each card and will have homework
where you will be required to meditate on, then color
each card. This process will aid you in learning the symbols
and how the energy of a symbol works to make you a better
reader.
Additional Tarot Classes are available:
Tarot Ritual & Spell Work, Different layouts and how
to create your own layouts. Different decks, and how to
create your own deck.The Tarot & Numerology, Tarot
& Astrology, Tarot & Kabala, and more.
Tarot & Psychic
Parties Tarot Parties are fun! What is a Tarot
Party?
Tarot parties are usually 2 hrs. or more
depending on they type of party. A party is where you
as hostess, would gather a minimum of 6 friends together,
usually having refreshments available or arranging it
as a pot luck. This can be indoors in a home, or outside,
or even at a park or other location as desired. A small
table is provided for me to display a variety of items
such as different tarot decks, pendulums, dowsing rods,
crystals, runes, etc. Then the party commences with a
15 to 30 minute discussion on divination and psychic development,
along with an explanation of the items displayed. This
is then followed by mini readings done in either a group
format where each person present gets a reading and all
present are able to hear it, or readings can be done individually,
where a table is set up in a private corner of the room
or in another room while the other guests are able to
visit with each other, share and enjoy trying the items
on display.

Moons - Witchcraft 101
Currently these classes are being revised.
They are usually held one full day a month or two half days a month.
Space will be limited.
These will be on-going classes, covering a complete year
and a day of studies.
Commitment will be required.
To be accepted into these classes, you must complete a
free introduction class.
During the introductory session dates, (days) and times are worked out.
Free Introduction to 13 Moons - Witchcraft 101 If you are interested in attending any of the 13
Moons - Witchcraft 101 sessions then you must attend an
introduction class.

the winter at a new location.
